Excellent question! The short answer is to have some natural rhythm and reflex going. Close range doesn’t give you much room to think. You should already have some natural patterns to move through. At some point, your fighting reflexes should have been well developed in order to handle those situations. I will go over this more in detail in future guides.

To choose Good gloves in Boxing is very important. If you practice well but do not spend time in finding the best glove for you then you won’t be able to get the most out of your practice. Thank you for your post. This is excellent information. It really gives me an insight.

This is a pretty fair choice if we talk about the price tag. Retail price of 59.99 pounds sterling makes them quite intelligent for their money. It is definitely a step forward compared to your cheapest gloves, but at the same time they cost better than other middle class gloves.

In reply to Johnny N. Hi, I actually used to be a pair of these gloves. Through a combination of science and magic, I am now a 45 year old man, and a pretty decent amateur boxer. So please be kinder in your review, because I literally am a pair of Sidekick boxing gloves evolved into human form.

In reply to Kickboxing gloves. These gloves were judged for their quality and performance comparison against existing boxing gloves. In that regard, they fall very short. I don't think there's much to debate...try a pair of Ring2Cage C17 as the baseline standard and see for yourself. The Sidekick gloves offered very little protection whatsoever. Too hard for sparring, and not a great feeling for bagwork either.

We have never experienced this kind of review on any of our equipment. We appreciate everyone is entitled to their opinion but we feel its your view on kickboxing and MMA as a sport that our equipment would not get any credibility in the boxing scene.
