Hello, what is the smallest 16 oz sparring glove in size? The problem is 16 oz gloves are very big and I think it affects my technique not very well. Thank you.

The anti martial arts comments are getting a little old, first martial artists basically suck at punching according to you
and now this comment from you : But to me, they felt like any other MMA glove—too stiff for my taste. (Certainly makes you wonder if martial artists ever spar hard.)
I agree boxers are the best punchers compared to TMA people and even better punchers than kickboxers and Mauy Thai fighters but……
Johnny you have an 0-1 amateur boxing record, you may have sparred a lot but that’s it.
That’s not alot of experience to be judging what is or isn’t a hard punch, as someone with significantly more fights in the ring that you, the only thing I know is: I don’t know ALOT. Boxing is supposed to teach humility look into it.

Would you review popular chinese brands like Wolon and TFM?

I got a pair of cheap Wolon gloves and they are surprisingly good, guess they have some good manufacturing process because they feel like much more expensive gloves. I would like to hear your opinion about them tho

Hey Johnny I am a long term fan of your website. My father used to box and a few years back I brought a UK winning clone “superior boxing” when it was 80$ Canadian on eBay.

After covid getting into boxing. I recently got a lot of gloves on discount off Facebook market from someone leaving abroad.

I expected my winning clone to do better then all the gloves, but surprise surprise it wasn’t.

It wasn’t Rival, or Fairtex, or even ring2cage.

The best performing glove was my dad’s crude old glove.

Tepee’s “Select”

I had the hardest time finding this glove’s origin due to “MK Select glove” taking all the search result, but it’s a local cheap handmade Canadian brand.

Everyone I met in person or online seems to love it, but it’s website is even worse then the old winning website and has literal no advertising.

I hope you take a look at this brand. I am convinced that it will become one of your favorites.

I just bought a pair of Necallis. My first gloves. They are very beautiful, but very uncomfortably/tight around the tip of my thumbs.

Will they be more comfy when I break them in?
